UPCYCLING
projectS
Our upcycling initiatives focus on using materials that are hard to recycle or cannot be recycled at all.
We invite our members to support these initiatives by collecting specific materials for particular projects. This subsequently deepens a connection to the local circular economy by supporting local entrepreneurs and craftspeople.
With your membership starterpack, you will receive a directory of projects you can support, merely by collecting materials you would otherwise throw away.

We do weekly collections for all our members, exchanging kitchen scraps for the compost they helped to create.
Our membership is available to those living in Plettenberg Bay & Natures Valley, South Africa. After collection we process the organics at a local primary school, located within Kurland Village in The Crags.
